The Palestinian Electricity Transmission Ltd. (PETL) invites applications from eligible candidates for the following position with the following details:
(Billing Assistant: (Ref. #: BA/FD/ 2017-19
Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparing, printing the invoices, and sends bills to the Discos, LGUs, and subscribers.
Generating reconciled and duplicate bills, credit notes and compiles the weekly and monthly bills and sends these statements to the customers.
Collecting cash and wire transfers against bills receivables and preparing aging reports for tracking the receivables and comparing with the due date.
Recording the details of the payments and making the entry into the accounts or informing the accounting staff to make the necessary entries.
Sending reminders or contact the subscribers through telephone regarding unpaid bills to the clients.
Updating the customers’ files for the payments on weekly basis.
Calculating the discount, commission, and other overheads on the billed amount.
BA or higher in Accounting or Finance with a minimum 2 years of experience.
Excellent in oral and written communications skills.
Strong Arabic and English skills.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
